Nothing Worth Winning Ever Came Easy

Florida Beaches

Tonight the Pens will conclude a three game road trip when they take on the Florida Panthers in Florida. The Pens are coming off a 3-2 victory on Saturday night against the Atlanta Thrashers.

This will be the second meeting between the Pens and Panthers this year. During the first meeting at the Mellon Arena in October the Pens came back from a 2-0 third period deficit to win the game 3-2 in a shootout. Sidney Crosby was the hero of that game scoring a shorthanded, powerplay and the game winning goal in the shootout.

Penguins killer Thomas Vokoun is expected to start for the Panthers which could spell some trouble for the Pens.

Scratches for tonight’s game are Kris Letang, Alex Goligoski, Jay McKee, Chris Kunitz, and Tyler Kennedy. Replacing them will be Deryk Engelland, Ben Lovejoy, Martin Skoula, and Chris Bourque.

Unlike the last time the team’s met, Marc-Andre Fleury is expected to get the start in goal for Pittsburgh.

The game starts at 7:30 and will be broadcast on FSN Pittsburgh.

GO PENS!!!!
