Nothing Worth Winning Ever Came Easy

Max Comes Home

Tonight the Pens will play their first home against Atlanta and Florida and the loss coming to Ottawa. They are coming off a 3-2 overtime win against the Florida Panthers on Tuesday night.

Tonight they will take on the battered and bruised Montreal Canadiens. Montreal will be playing the second game of back to back games after winning last night at home against Columbus. The Canadiens, much like the Pens, have been ravages by injuries this season.

Tonight’s game also marks the return home for Game 7 hero Max Talbot. This will be Talbot’s first game back at the Mellon Arena since June. His last official home game was June 9th, Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals. He will surely be greeted with a standing ovation.

In other news Kris Letang was cleared for contact but was ruled out of tonight’s game. Both he and Tyler Kennedy skated with the team this morning but both have been ruled out for tonight.

Scratches for tonight’s game are Kris Letang, Alex Goligoski, Jay Mckee, Tyler Kennedy, and Chris Kunitz. Filling in will be Ben Lovejoy, Martin Skoula, Deryk Engelland, and Chris Bourque.

Marc-Andre Fleury is expected to get the start in goal.

GO PENS!!!
